For some reason I'm expierencing a glitch with Fable...The screen just goes to Power Save Mode for no reason when I try to go to the beach in Oakvale to do the Pirate treasure quest. It also did it in another area but i cant even attempt this quest due to it going into the black screen. I was able to get out of the black screen by hitting the Windows key on my keyboard, but since i got "help" from Microsoft, The game stays in the black screen no matter what and i have to reboot my PC. I have all my settings turned down to the lowest and nothing running in the background yet it still happens. I'd really just like to be able to play the game again...I'm almost tempted to just return this game to microsoft and get the Xbox version of the game...

Have you tried to turn off the hibernate mode in the Power options in the Control Panel? What OS are you using, by the way?
P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums.

Hmm, you mentioned that the screen went black after triggering the quest, is it? I suspect it has something to do with the audio drivers (or other drivers). Have you tried updating graphics, audio and DirectX drivers?
I recall that I usually get either a blank screen or a sudden jam (and reboots) in some games if the audio drivers are not up to date.

My game just goes to Power Save mode when i go to the western beach in Oakvale..And i checked for updates on my drivers and all of them were up to date im pretty sure. Ill double check on that, i even reinstalled the game and that didnt work. I'm thinking it has something to do with the ocean in Oakvale...I dont know what else would be able to cause besides some other glitch in the system.
