Indeed we do appreciate it! I've found the game far more enjoyable since installing this patch, and I was already addicted beforehand. Wesp, I can't thank you enough :)

Well, I update from 1.2 to 5.5, started a Nosferatu game, played, got to the Fun with Pestilence quest and...it's broken. I can't talk to the clerk, obviously, so I hacked the computer, it gave me the name of the suite Locke is in (Brooklyn), but I can't use the card printer. It is simply not a usable object.

Anyone know of a way to circumvent this bug? Wesp, any fixes?

I've just tried and I am indeed having the same problem.

I know :( . Sadly I included the wrong hackterminal file in 5.5 so this is not working like intended. I already fixed it for 5.6 but the only way to continue right now is to give yourself the key via the console with "give item_k_empire_jezebel_key". Sorry...

Thanks for the command. No need to apologise - the rest of the patch makes up for it ;)

Dang. That doesn't help me, because whenever I use a give_item command in the console the game freezes. It doesn't for vclan commands, but seems to for most others.

Anyone happen to know why that'd be?

This is a known random bug independent of the actual console commands. Open the console from the main menu only and it will never freeze.

Excellent, Wesp, that fixes the last of it.

Keep up the good work!

I don't know if this is the right place, but I'd like to make a very small request for any of the upcoming patch releases.

During the tutorial, you are shot and wounded by some Sabbat vampires. Jack tells you to feed to heal. This is just after the 'chopshop' office room and just before you have to sneak past a lone vampire who's holding a tire iron.

I've noticed that if I skip past the conversation out of boredom, my health is rather in need of healing, but if I sit and listen to Jack as he talks, by the time the conversation has ended I'm fully healed, and yet he's telling me to go feed to heal myself. This is rather strange.

So, I was wondering if it were possible to freeze the health-bar while having that conversation? It's clearly not an important issue at all, but if it's easy to do then it would be nice. :)

I don't think this would be possible and using the plus patch it wouldn't be needed anyway because with that the automatic heal rate has been halved to make Blood Heal more useful :) .

Hi, Wesp!

It's been quite a while since my last post but that's because this forum is almost dead. :( Anyway, I like to keep an eye here every now and then just to see if there are any new patches available.

It's been quite a while also since the last time I played Bloodlines and I want to start a new game now, but having read the posts made by Brother None and Lєviathan have made me change my mind, so when do you think version 5.6 will be available?

And on a related topic I wanted to ask you: when do you think there will be a final version of the patch? I'm asking this because sadly it seems the interest about Bloodlines is fading more and more as each day goes by, and while there will be always casual gamers around the World, IMHO I think a final, bug free, revision should be made to the patch. What do you think?

Thank you for reading, hope to see your answer soon. :)

Unless you're going to be playing as Nos it seems to be fine (and still good fun).

Out of interest, do you know if there have ever been any petitions or formal letters to Activision requesting a sequel with scriptable multiplayer support?
(I say scriptable because SA:MP has been a huge success simply because you can change your server so easily, and this has caused many hardcore roleplay servers to spring up alongside deathmatch servers, which is what I want to see from a game like this)

Peace :)

It won't be long because there were some minor issues I introduced myself in 5.5, so I would guess 5.6 could be released in a week or two.

No idea! Although interest may be waning here, at Planet Vampire there are still several guys going through each patch release for bugs and bad details and they still keep finding them! 5.6 has quite a list of fixes already!

So I wont have to install all the patches one after another to get from 1.2
to 5.6?
And if the latest patch is installed can I then instal the diffrent clans mod pack?
Thanx in advance

Yes, 1.2 first, then unofficial patch 5.5 or the soon to be released 5.6 and then the PnP mod on top.

Thanks for your continued effort Wesp5 to manifest the game's full potential.

I have reinstalled the game with 1.2 and then your (5.5 Basic and 5.5 Plus) patch. Again playing as female Malc.

I'm curious, I have entered Pawn Shop and there are no books available for sale? Is there something I must do first (if this is the case, answer in a spoiler as I would like to work it out) or have they been removed?

Also the email on the computer in the beach house requires password that is at a very high level ... should it not be lowered to give a chance to read since the area is barred from entry after mission is completed?

btw ... I have been to pier, returned bomb, blackmailed and save an injured girl from death's door ... then went shopping.

EDIT: I did reload a game from previous version, but it was just after completing tutorial ... should I have totally restarted?
cheers :D

They have been moved to somewhere else in SM because there was a exploit connected to them being available in Trip's shop.

Hmmm, 5 isn't that much and there isn't much to find there anyway...

This should hopefully work out.

Hi there. I truly don't want to sound like I'm rushing you or am ungrateful, but may I have a rough guess for when the next patch is coming out? I just want to know if I have time to play the game through again with a new character before the next one comes out :)
