I've been using TES for Morrowind forever to patch or change small things, and only recently after noticing every item i've looted was just dumped on the floor on the Grandmasters quarters in the assassins place i decided to do something up to store all my junk in (i hoard anything of value). So after placing all the basic stuff in i went to look for a decent mannequin mod, which sure enough i found, but they where all either in such obscure places that it wasn't worth it to me to get it, or they would be limited to about 10. So i decided to add my own into the mod, after small investigation i realised -why- they where in such limited number, because every single one i found used unique scripts for every item, why do they do that? I compiled mine with 1 item, 1 npc and 2 scripts, doesn't the Morrowind engine give everything a unique ID anyway? I've run it and it runs without any problems at all, and i can spawn an unlimited number of them if i really wanted to. could someone enlighten me as to why there's supposed to be unique scripts and npcs AND items for EVERY mannequin?

No one knows anything about this? I've tested it fairly throughly with my own game, though i've not over written my original game just incase there's something i've missed.
