So I have played my way out of the professor snakes... I mean irenc..something:s dungeon(yes i felt like freaking hairy potter... The voice actor either sounds very much like the guy who plays snake in the movies or is actually the same person), and killed the crazy gnome in the circus tent in the city. I cant equip anything exept for weapons, which i found surprising since i thought that kensai can use robes etc. So is it really so that i will not get to use any items exept for my faithful short swords? It would be nice to get to use some other items too... But its not horrible: This way i only need to focus on getting more powerful weapons.

There is a likeliness, but they're not the same person. The guy is an actor however, chances are you've [url="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001831/"]seen him before[/url].

Rings, amulets, ioun stones, belts...

Keep in mind that some weapons provide you with defensive effects, such as bonus AC or the ability to cast mirror image.

Also, I think it's better to have them dualclasses to something else, as after -15 THAC0, you are guaranteed to hit anything anyway.

As a Kensai/Mage you can use robes and protective spells. (Your Kensai bonus does go over to Shapechange too!)

As a Kensai/Cleric you can increase your AC and give yourself some more (depending on when you dual) physical resistance.

As a Kensai/Thief... well... after Use Any Item, you can use anything you want. So you CAN walk around with a constant -22 AC and still dualwield.

A kensai mage is what im going to go for. Thanks for the answers all!
