Drunken Master

So what are people's opinion of the Drunken Master class I've heard of? I think it would be fun to try out but i dont want it to be just some inebriated fool throwing punches wildly. A Drunken Master should have a monk-like mind set right?

Actually, I think it would be much more fun to have some inebriated drunken fool throwing punches wildly.

Ha-Ha it would be fun until the druken fool decided to punch a high lvl sleeping dragon or decides to just stroll into a room unleashing say 10 minotuars or somthing of that nature

Yea, but hes not always drunker then a skunk. Hes only slightly there. Then you have the ones that use their skills without booze! Think Jackie Chan in "Drunken Master". Never drunk, but still funny. Could use a high bluff check to pull it off too.

Drunken weapons
heres a fun idea how about a warhammer, axe, sword , whatever the case may be but the end of the hilt unscrews containing say 5 shots of whisky or some kind of ale for the drunken master to reach the perfect lvl of intoxication to fight at his peak preformance.

Well I thought of a drunken master who carries a barrel with him and uses it as a weapon. You get bottle proficiency and this way you should not need any conventional weapons and have fun as well. With a little help from a mage who can create items you can even imbue your barrel with magical properties; lets say your barrel can fly near you and block incoming attacks as you drink and get crazy. Or you can attach a chain to your barrel and then throw it to people, yeah this would be cool.
