hello

i just started throne of baal and i'm having problems getting all my custom portraits to work.

I found a post on this forum somewhere that outlined how to do it... and it worked for some of my party members, but not all.

what i did is take the desired portrait files, rename them to NKORGANM, AND NKORGANS, for example, and i put them in the override folder..

this worked for korgan and nalia.. but not for viconia and jaheira.. i checked the spelling many times.. i tried putting them in the portraits folder.. and back to the override folder.. nothing..

I thought maybe it was the files themselves, but they are all from the same source, and i can see and use them when im creating a character while they are in the portraits folder.. so i am confused..

any advice would be appreciated

i have solved the problem...

i forgot about the 7 character restriction to the portrait names..
