Installation Issue: Screen Resolution, Help!

So, I had recently installed Tutu and was cruising along merrily when my Hard Drive took a dump last week (Dell sucks!) on my laptop.
Anyway, I got everything back up and running and decided to go ahead and try to install Tutu again, but every time I try to install BG, everything goes OK until the movie, which won't play.
I get an error message saying my LCD display has the wrong resolution set, and it should be set to 1024x768. Only trouble is, that IS the setting on the display.
Anyone got any suggestions? I'm Jonesing.
