Putting a name in urls in posts.

Post by GawainBS »

I wonder how you do this? I always mess it up.
For example: I want post this: "you can find more help from the guides over at this site" and I want to words "this site" to link to Video Game Cheats, Reviews, FAQs, Message Boards, and More - GameFAQs.

Can anyone explain this to me?
Thanks in advance!

After you click on the button and type in the url in the box, the cursor in your text field should show a selection. Once you start typing, it immediately overwrites whatever there was before. That shows instead of your url I think.

Edit: Yeah, it does. BB code is kind of HTMLish too.
