im sorry but i just have to voice my opinion about some stuff that needs changed or added or fixed in dl2.

1. please have it to where all the skills, abilities, and spells work!
2. spend some time looking for bugs (jenny craig urgoth among others)
3. make it where melee and rangers can complete the game a lot easier
4. make the beginning less of a pain in the @$$ and the end harder for everybody not just warriors and rangers
5. add some more types of armor and weapons that have more magical properties (more like diablo2 it would make the game more interesting)
6. make it to where a mage would want to wear cloth/light armor to enhance or keep from having the skill hampered and warriors wanting heavy etc....
7. please fix the internet support. this game would have done better had the net support been better
8.please add some type of mercernary or something that lvl's up with you that you can amror up/ keep with you throughout the game.
9. please add like 20 more moonbridges and like 10 more towns we are and advanced race and need variety!
10. please make the load/reload/moonbridge times a lot faster i mean 1 minute to start the game joining a full d2 game on a lagging b.net is faster i mean come on
11. please add more character custimization options
12. please fix the single to multiple player glitches, i lost my house of tiger and dragon quests because i went to multi then back to single (time to break out editor)
13.make a crazy fast respawn speed i mean fast aint fast more like medium and slow is like 1 group of mobs running from town to town.
14. please fix a few of the skills that do work (channel and scribe) so that you can fix the infinite money glitch/economy.

thats all i can think of so far, if any1 would like to add please feel free i would like to hear your suggestions as well.

more needed fix's

i have thought of a few more fix's or changes needed.

1. make more equipment for rangers.
2. fix minions to where if they kill a monster you get the points even though you dont hit it.
3. make more offensive spells in the nether celestial and rune magic classes and add defensive spells to offensive magic
4. add more slots for characters or change it to where you dont need slots for characters because 8 slots total is not unuff.
5. make sure the game works with all systems (mac,windows,linux,and anything else) and also all versions of systems (vista, xp,98,95,an any future system)

please post some thing people i have heard people gripe about this game and here is a place to gripe for a reason.

well about new towns and more...

I was just thinking maybe you could put rohn in the game i'v wanted to see
this place and i still do, I mean with rohn WE ALL would have a new place to
save or do things in.

Another thought if rohn were to be put in maybe you will have to find a way in
kinda like with fargrove but going through a cave (yea some caves would be
nice eh? ) and just something to add maybe an option to import charracters from this dungeon lords?

ummm rohn could have some armor/wep/item shops and maybe capes could
be in in the next one too for like a resistence bonus or something really rare
to try and get, and maybe some new class's and a few more races
I'v seen on a few sites about an unknown race or being and i'm wondering that on in particuler race will be in the next game.

ummm maybe add something a bit of cures's or something? Like becoming
a wearwolf or vampire if anyone wanted to like some secret unknown
place to all of mankind but not to wearwolfs or w/e, it might put some more
thrill or edge in the game just meh ya know something new.

also wondering maybe make islands far off into the ocean and have some
under water caves to explore and with such a wide open area of water
maybe add in sea serpents to hunt? It's just another thought and maybe
some more drakes and maybe some giant dragons, giant dragons (wuld
be a cool thing to be riding around rather than a horse LMAO)

so yea just some thoughts some new race's, some caves, new monsters,
new challenges and puzzles maybe, some new armor for each unique third tier
class kinda like deathlord for deathlord, ya know some unique armor
for each unique class, and you could think of wearwolves and vampire
shapeshifting i mean that would be kicking bombs man! (of course for a race
option)

something i was wondering is the lack of support. i mean diablo2 and nearly every other game that is rpg where you lvl up has this wonderful invention called a chart! i would like to see a chart for all spells and abilities in dl2. i mean i would just like to know exactly how much life my lvl 17 celestial magic divine interventions has, or how much dmg my lvl 40 arcane magic with 12 spellfire cataclysm could do other than the word "dies". i agree with deathseeker we need more areas and more races. i think the idea of a "mount" would be awsome. and why is it when you levitate over water its slower than when you levitate over land? i mean i can levitate and swim sideways faster than i can go straight in water.

Let the player go everywhere without NPC's telling you to GTFO, the only thing that should stop us from getting to certain areas is the enemies being to hard.

I dont want to HAVE to do a certain dungeon/quest line straight away. Id like to explore a town first, do a bit of fighting/looting and buy some better equipment first.


Add more variety for what a character can do. Let clerics get paid to heal people, let warriors fight in arenas for money, let characters guard merchant trains, have pernament jobs, homes in towns.

i agree in basically everyother fps game there is you get a time to get used to the controls and dont have to start killing things the second you start. i mean in diablo1 you start in town and have to figure out how to move and talk to ppl b4 you go to the catacombs(church) to start killing things and it was made way b4 dl. the idea of a job or the idea for advanced interactivity is another good one. i would love to be able to heal my minions or fight with guards. and there should be no bounaries that npc's can go that you cant(pisses me off when they die on a hill and i cannot get to their loot)!!!

Ideals

1 --- Ranged combat should be just like melee how it handles stats and also be able to shoot the bow with your own accuracy.

2 --- Pick locks should be all skill and no clicking on icons cause its to darn easy.

3 --- Skills should level up according to how much you use them like your in melee combat with a sword and you killed off 10 monsters the exp from the monsters will go to sword skill cause you where using a sword.

4 --- Better animations for jumping and attacking overall all of them really.

5 --- Stack able weapons and armor that still cause the weight to be accumulated.

6 --- More armor & weapons so you can mitch and match to make your own look.

7 --- Make mp with more quests and no story line unless you select CO-OP mode basically give options for mp.

8 --- 2 sexes for each race makes better in game history more populated areas and gives more options for mp role players.(I hate empty cities and towns looks depressing)

9 --- Double the amount of skills and make melee attacks random each swing is random makes it harder to time and as you get better with sword the less random it gets etc.MORE CHARACTER LOOKS.

10 --- A craft system also REMOVE NAKTALS OMG GAY make them like a arcane dude but with degen abilties and undead summons and crap give summon wolf to a new class or a ranger and stuff make it make sense plz.

11 --- Ok also if a jack !@$ can use heavy armor why can't he use light armor i mean come on!!
NEED ROBES

Srry but i had to add my response to this cause i like dungeon lords alot i beat original with not a single bug in the way and ce, i replayed it an got the bugs and where bad so don't mess up this time around you might lose alot of reputation.

needs compatability

one thing dl2 needs to do is add compatability for windows, mac's, and linux systems so everybody can play it without needing to have hacked windows files.

This is what i want for Orb & the Oracle

1.New Character Customization. Add new races. Drey Elf, Dark Elf and Draedoth, females and males for each race.

2.More Weapons,Armor and items.(Add Modding as in custom worlds,items etc)

3.Twice or triple the amount of abilities with color correction. Rune Blade is red,Rune strike should have red glowing hands etc. They should also have nether strike like the wraiths.

4.Larger world Twice the size or Triple the size with ice lands and rothn also they should make towns in between cities and the cities much larger. Add Dungeons,Crypts and caves that are not quest related.

5.Fixed World - This is all ready done i believe check there screen shots. More smoother terrain and better water.

6.Remove Bugs - I have not encountered any bugs in dungeon lords or dungeon lords CE. I have heard of them and those should be fixed.
