Can't play new adventures

Started playing The Witcher Enhanced Edition but when I start the new adventures it goes automatically to the talent distribution screen and says to distribute them then click on the hour glass to accept but there is no hour glass...........how do I accept and exit then? Appreciate any help you can give me...............

You pick your skills, and then you just click on the X to close the window.

I tried clicking on everything including the X but it still will not close out.............any other suggestions and thanks for the reply

Got it.............I had to uninstall and reinstall the game then it worked perfectly..............
