Sorry to bother you guys again so soon. Made a new thread because it was a little off topic from the one below.

Think I just found the "2nd special encounter" The Evil Wizard" and this dude is cleaning my clock. TNO's dead in about 45 seconds every time I do battle.
After the 1st 4-5 times, I started keeping track of my trips into his room, and as of an hour ago I had made 27 trips. :o

If anyone can give me a few hints on how to take this guy and his buddies down, I would be very grateful. :D

Here's what my party looks like:
TNO Lv 9 Fighter
Morte Lv 9 Fighter
Dak'Kon Lv 8 Fighter Lv 9 Mage
Annah Lv 8 Fighter Lv 10 Thief
Nordom Lv 7 Fighter
F-F-G Lv 8 Priest

I show these stats, because I remember when I first started playing RPG's, my grandson told me if you're in a area and you're constantly getting creamed, then you are probably not strong enough to be there.

Could that be the case here? Or am I doing something wrong?
Before I enter the room, I have FFG cast Bless and Protect from Evil, but it does not seem to help. Seems like only TNO gets killed. Guess that's because he's already so far in the room.

Any way I apologize for rambling. If anyone can help me out with some tatics, please do so.
Thanks
Sonny :) :)

After you're called up, and the dialog ends, run back to the rest of your party and start focusing on only one creature.

Remember, you CAN leave the room to recuperate and come back to finish the job. Whatever monsters were near the door will still be there, while others will stand still unless they see you.

Don't forget to heal using your charms as well. I had around fifty of the basic ones by the time the game ended, so use them freely.

Thanks that worked great :D

Took a couple tries until I got it right, but it worked real good.
Left the room, returned, killed 2, left the room, returned, killed 2, etc., and then aced the wizard.
Don't know if I would have ever figured that out on my own (old grey matter not what it used to be)

Thanks again
Sonny :) :)
