YouTube - Barack Obama Scares A 7 Year Old Girl
If I answered like that on a job interview, I'd be told the classic, "Don't call us, we'll call you."

And yet amazingly, he's made it past the primaries and into the democratic nominee part of the election.
For the type of "job" he's going for, what he said made absolute 100% perfect sense. He wants to get back on the right track because the last 5 or 10 years have been really...just awful.
Oh...and where did he "Scare" the girl? She asked the question and you didn't see her anymore.

What? Is this McCain propaganda? Could you please put more information to your post why you think this is important, cause now it's just... meaningless, like a stupid electionslogan as to why the american people should not vote for Obama. What did he actually do wrong, Klorox?

Klorox, why don't you just create a single thread, entitled something like "Why I think a McCain/Palin win would be Fantastic."
However, as Moonbiter told you in one of your other threads, you won't get away with simply spewing propaganda, you'll need to thoughtfully argue your position.

I think Obama double clutched at this question because of the audience. He cannot give a Harvard type intellectual response because it would be over their heads and he would look like an egg head, He could not give a standard political response because it would seem so rehearsed and well, political. He stalled until he could come up with an appropriate answer for a seven year old. I think it points out the elitist attitude he has towards the electorate. I am not a psychologist , but it appears to me that Obama has a superiority complex and can barely conceal his contempt for the uneducated masses he purports to champion. Guns and religion anyone?

I think you are right Dowaco in the sense of, how do you explain to a seven-year-old why you are doing something like running for President?
It's not an easy question to answer in a context like that.
However, I don't think elitism has anything to do with it.
What is contemptuous, though, is when somebody dressed to the nines in designer clothing claims to represent "Joe the (no show) Plumber."

He is a political figure. They are all liars and elitists. A guy (or girl) making 20,000 dollars a year can't become president. You have to be rich and dirty to run. Honest people can't be political figures, to do so would result in a rupture of the space/time continuum....:speech:

I was following you on the first part that he was stalling to figure out how to speak to a 7 year old. But I think the contempuous part you fabricated from your own projections onto him. (note I am not saying YOU are contempuous I mean a projection of what you asume to be Obama).
