Fernando de la Rúa renouce( I don't know the right word, He (the President) left the government). After sitium state declared he left the Casa Rosada( "Pink House"). A wave of crimes and pillage is in progress from midday at now.
Horse-cops are trying to control the situation
Argentina don't have a second-president.
Propably the Senate President(Ramón- peronist) will take Fernando de la Rúa place.
As usual FMI, White house, Mercosul close the doors and leave the bomb to Argentina.

I think US government should do them a favor by invading Argentina and make them the 51th state of America. That will solve their problem I think.

Ivan! It's been a while...
Can you explain WHY this has turned into such a fiasco? All I have heard on the radio is that economic difficulties led to some looting, which led to a state of emergency, which led to killing, which led to a resignation.
So why does Argentinia have such a poor economy right now?
@Dottie: I don't think forgiving debts is the answer. If you have a kid who keeps spending more than their allowance, do you think it wise to continue giving him money? No, Argentinia has to (IMHO) learn to live within their means.

The country declare moratoria then everybody loose.
The world displicence bugs me.
The most affected country at now is Spain.
