Well, I'm back. What did I miss?

My wife and I spent 3 weeks in Budapest. Other than that, I've been working hard, while trying to avoid pollsters, religious proselytizers, and flying fish. So please, tell me what I've missed up here, and I'll send a nice gift to your next wedding. Or maybe the one after that. I promise.

Nice to know the speculations on your spontaneous combustion were unfounded!

Welcome back. :D

Welcome back.

If you check here you should find a thread that speculates as to what happened to you.

Other than that, nothing interesting, well, except for Kipi and Brother None actually getting Fallout 3. xD

Thanks! No, no spontaneous combustion. I thought about it:

Plus side: I could have my ashes blown in George Bush's face.
Down side: I couldn't enjoy chicken tandoor.

In the end, food won over principles, as it always seems to in history. :(

Welcome back Fable, you've been sorely missed. I hope you had a swell time on your holidays.

Welcome back Fable, it's good to see you around again. :D In your absence, well things just haven't been the same... calves born with three heads, swarms of locusts, oceans drying up...

Yes, we all missed your magic touch. Good to have you back, Fable. :)
Did you bring us some flying fish by chance?

Good to read you again Fable. Not much. A good laugh, a tear. My dad died a few weeks ago, chose to keep it quiet. I thought about taking an extended leave as well, but now is just not the right time. I have too much to whine and fuss about for now.

What about you? Did you catch any gargoyles?

Welcome back, sir. :)
Thank you, captain. Carry on! :D

Yes, I have flying fish for all! I'm sending them via aardvark, so they may take a while to arrive. Please look around your front doors several times a day, and when people ask what you're doing, tell them, "I'm looking for a flying fish tied to the back of an aardvark." They will probably be encouraged to help.

Tricky, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. I know how that goes. It's been some while since I lost mine, but every now and then it hits me once more. You have my condolences.

I have two gargoyles, for mating purposes. They have exchanged rings, and I hope to produce winged pebbles in the near future.

LOL, DW! It always happens when one's out, isn't that the truth? Just the other day my cat was kidnapped by aliens, and only engineered his escape by promising them the soul of Elizabeth Dole (which was a good joke, because she hasn't got one). And I missed the whole thing! Life certainly is strange. :)

Great to see you back, O Fabulous One. >insert fawning smiley here<

You nearly missed a pancake party overflowing with 100% virgin maple syrup! :D I wonder... would flying fishes make good filling between stacks of jacks?

LMAO! Yeah, it was great to see her go down last night!
Of course this only confirms what I've long believed. Aliens land on Planet Earth all the time searching for intelligent life, hence why our pets go missing :p

Welcome back. What did you miss? Not much. The world ended. Twice. Then there was this new president thing, but nobody paid any particular attention to that. Oh, and Britney won her court case. Apart from that we're playing Fallout 3 while drooling quietly in a dark room.

I promise a chicken tandoor in every pot, so vote for me! I will see to it that everybody you fear and loathe is removed from the country, which means everybody will have to go, including myself. Then we can rent out the place, and all move to Budapest on the proceeds.

Thank you, thank you, my friends.

It was, thanks, Tower_Master. This was our seventh trip, there, and our last. Next time they kick us ou...I mean, we decide to vacation outside the US, in 2 or 3 years, we'll be looking at other, hopefully less touristed destinations. Roumania comes to mind, or one of the Baltic States. Sweden, or Denmark? We're not sure. We'll ask for advice when the time comes.
also, im back! yeah! remember me?
Sure do, penguin_king. Did you ever decide to buy Oblivion, or did you reject it on our advice?
Oh, and Britney won her court case. Apart from that we're playing Fallout 3 while drooling quietly in a dark room.
With our without Britney, Moonbiter? Nah, you have too much taste to be in a room with Britney. Though is Fallout 3 that much better? ;)

If they were airborne in the arms of a dwarf, sure. But not a halfing. Putting pancakes in the arms of a halfing before throwing it is simply saying goodbye to the jacks, as well as messing up your trajectory because of altered weight concerns. But what about gagging the halfing, so it can't eat the jacks, you ask. That's fine, as long as you don't mind the halfing consuming the gag. There are a variety of halfing gags in fact for this purpose on the market, some of them flavored, though the best examples are vitamin-enriched with extra iron. Thus, you still lose the jacks, but the halfing gets a more balanced meal.

I trust that resolves matters.

You will have my vote because I have a soft spot for awe-inspiring, chariot-riding, thunderbolt-wielding leaders. Thanks for pot. I am going to donate all proceeds to 'my friends'. :)

Fable, you might have been replaced by a sequel, but judging from Peter Molyneux's various shades of insanity, we're glad to have the real one back.
