I have just installed two worlds and am able to start and play NEW games, but am not able to load an existing game -- I get the error maeeags: "Two Worlds.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close -----".
Does anyone have any clue what the problem might be?

maybe the save is corrupt? did you try it with different saves?

two different games, two or three saves in each -- all have same problem.

patched?

Is this maybe a Vista thing where you have to run the game as administrator or something? I never had any problems with saved games in Two Worlds, patched or unpatched.

XP OP, game is brand new v1.7.

I have emailed support at southpeakgames but doubt I'll get a resolution.

Guess I'll try uninstall/reinstall and see if that helps.

There is one thing I don't understand and the manual has no info on: in the start menu there are options for "Two Wordls" or "Two Worlds 9600 Radeon".

Any ideas?

Corrupted game saves

If you could back up your game saves when you know they are good, you should store those on a disk or storage. This has happened to me before, and when one game save gets corrupted, the other one follows if you over write it. Maybe you could turn off auto save, so you don't automatically corrupt your game save. I usually save my game, then make a backup, then put my backup on my storage, or a game save backup website.

Upgrade from 2 worls demo - how?

Have had no problem with Demo, quite far on in main quest. Have just installed full grogramme. Had to activate serial in safe mode (very small). Gets to start of new game and crashes. Cannot load saved games from demo. Both programmes are in different location and won't speak to each other. Demo still works fine but I can't advance. Do I have to uninstall demo first. There is nothing anywhere to help. Best wishes the-gilded-lily
