If you haven't heard of it, and are interested in writing, at all, check it out.

Sorry, I really should have thought to put this up earlier (you know, before it started!), but it just didn't occur to me till this moment, when I suddenly started wondering...is anyone else here NaNoing this year? If so, uh, represent, and stuff! :p

For those of you who haven't heard of it, the goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a novel with 50,000 words or more in thirty days (those days being the month of November). Its slogan is something along the lines of "Are you a one day novelist? Are you one of those people who would like to write a novel and always tell yourself...one day?" It's all about quantity, not quality, but is incredibly fun and frenzied, and often totally insane.

I hope some people here (what do we call ourselves, anyway? I've never really thought about it. Gamebansheeers? :p Banshees? ) happen to be doing it, if so, feel free to discuss your book, or ideas, or anything NaNo related here!

Back to my book, now!

P.S. This was a wasted 218 words, including this postscript. I really should be more frugal with my words, in November!

You're seven days late to draw in new people. :p

I think I started a thread about this last year. I just have nowhere near enough time for this, otherwise I'd join in. Best of luck to you though. Have any idea what you'll be writing about already?

Fable's weight in cheese and a chihuahua with a tinfoil hat.

Nothing.

Gamebansheeers? Banshees?
Bansheenists.
Back to my book, now!
Can we take a sneak peek at your masterpiece, Kienan? Will you post the first sentence please?
