I am using my first Monk character. I read that the Monk can use Keldorn's Full Plate armor. Here are my questions:
1. Is this true?
2. What is so special about this armor?
3. Does a monk really need this armor?
4. What other items are good for the Monk to obtain?
Any other monk related comments or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

monk provides free movement, and a good AC (-1) and is light weight. Basically it stops people from hitting you as often.

It is true, but if you are other classes such as a palidin, use the balduran plate or the red dragon (non-magical).

Since you are a monk though, you normally can't wear armour at all, so this is the best way to go if you are sick of people hitting you with their weapons.

I wouldn't bother with the armor. As you get higher levels you wont need it anyway.

There are a couple of items of special interest for a monk. Namely gauntlets of crushing and scarlet ninja-to. Keep an eye out for these, especially the gauntlets.

You just need this armor until lvl 16 (i stopped using it on lvl 14) and make sure that u buy scarlet ninja-to (genera;y to kill trolls) and that dagger wich comes back when you trow it to kill someone running from you Image
