Monk level up stall

My monk has gotten to Level 2, so I get to pick a class specific skill.
After reading a bit I learned that you could only pick one of either Combat Reflexes or Deflect(/snatch?) Arrow, which should be highlighted in gold.

Now, my problem is that I had already picked those exact two feats at Character creation (human=2 feats).

The Level Up screen won't let me proceed unless I pick a Feat, which I will never be able to pick.

Am I eternally stalled?

There might be a console command to change feats, but here's a way I actually know how to solve your problem:

First, note his current XP (write it down), and give all his equipment to his fellows. Go to the inn and use the book on the counter to remove the monk from your party.
Now use the book again to bring him back in. He'll be in his original level 1 version.

Now use the console to set his XP to where it was before.
(Open the console by holding shift and pressing ~ (next to 1). Then type

game.party[X].stat_base_set(stat_experience,Y)

Make X = 0 for PC #1, 1 for #2, 2 for #3, etc.
Make Y = the number you want their new Stat to be.)

Now give him back his original equipment and level back up. You can choose your feats over again, and just not pick one of those so it's still an option for you when you level later.

Thank you.
But I grew frustrated too quickly so I just restarted and fast tracked everything; you don't get to Lvl 2 too far in the game, so it wasn't too bad.
If I fall victim to similar circumstances again I'll know what to do.

If you're running one of the more recent co8 mods, there's an option when you speak to Jaroo to have him fix a problem that sometimes crops up wherein a character has a status ailment permanently applied to him/her. This basically just kills and resurrects your character, then gives back the XP lost.

Not sure if this would help in your particular case or not, but if you have to manually level up, it could be used to basically do what I suggested above without having to bother with moving the inventory around and such.
