Hi Hoping to get my xbox 360 (Jasper) in the next few days, just waiting for the store to get new stock.

Need some advice on games though as this is my first console since my megadrive, but keeping up with requirements for PC gaming is getting a bit of an effort as I have a once powerful laptop.

Anyway question, I love Guitar Heros 3 (played on a friends machine), what is best though Guitar Heros: World Tour (Guitar only) / Rockband (Guitar only, but is it wireless?). I like the extra sets of buttons on the RB guitar(at base of neck), but do you change between them out of choise/requirement during the game. Also can RB Guitar be used with GH series & GH:World Tour & visa versa.

Also got Mass Effect (xbox 360), getting Fable 2, Fallout 3 & GTA:IV in future. But can anyone recommend any others need a FPS (finished Halo series), a Driving game (loved Need for Speed Most wanted, but want car damage and realist but fun driving).

For FPS, I can recommend Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and World at War, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway and Far Cry 2.

In the case of driving games, given your requirements, I can recommend GRID (play the demo first to see if you like it or not).

For the GH vs. RB question:
rock band has (in the eyes of many) a better song list, whereas GH has much better hardware (guitar controller etc.) so really, the best choice would be to look at the songs on each game, decide which you would rather play, and pick that one.

also, im not 100% about the compatibility of the instruments, but im lead to believe that the guitars are universal.

also, where RB has the 5 extra buttons, GH now has a slide bar, that can be used in certain sections of songs.

just to let you know RB guitar will not work with GH but GH guitar will work with RB
