I'm now in Chapter 6, I just finished the first Planar Sphere quest and I'm now doing the second one, I've been given the Rune of Imprisonment to make some guy 'disappear'.
Only, every time I try to go to the City Gates, my game just closes down and I'm back at desktop. Is there any way to fix this? I reinstalled Baldurs Gate II and stuff, and it still happens.

Any help's appreciated, I haven't done this quest before and I want to see what happens. :laugh:

You also mentioned a strange thing with Aerie and Haer'Dalis in another thread. Have you installed any bugfixes? Because if you haven't that might be the cause of your two problems.

No, as I've mentioned on the other thread... nothing's installed, although I don't have ToB yet... ^^; I did, however this disk is now too damaged to be read [no thanks to the little brother. ¬_¬] I'll be purchasing another one and replaying the game, and as I mentioned on the other thread... if I get the dialogue between Hear'dalis and Aerie again, I'll print screen it.

Just out of curiosity, what version of the game do you have and watch patch did you install?

What do you mean, version? :laugh: You mean, if I have SoA or not? I installed the official SoA patch on the Bioware site...

If you've installed Throne of Bhaal, it's the latest patch for that you should use, not the SoA patch.

No, I don't have Thone of Bhaal, I've said this somewhere before [I don't think on this thread], my CD was destroyed by my little brother. I've got the Shadows of Amn patch installed until I manage to get myself a Thone of Bhaal CD. When I get Throne of Bhaal, I will uninstall Shadows of Amn and the patch, and then completely reinstall the game and get the Throne of Bhaal patch.
