I have a strange audio problem...e.g. at the beginning of the game, in Irenicus' dungeon, I can't hear what he's saying - the text appears above his head, but the sound doesn't work, except for some words, sometimes only a word or a part of sentence is spoken.The same things repeats in almost all cut scenes during the game where only text appears above persons, for example when Imeon & Irenicus are imprisoned in The Government district and when Irenicus talks to Matron Mother...

Sometimes similar things happens in BG I at the very beginning, when I tell Gorion that I'm ready to go, we are teleported to the exit of Candlekeep, where I should hear him saying about Khalid and Jaheira, but it's all silent, then he heals me and we go on.And sometimes, although very rarely, I hear his voice perfectly clear.

Any idea where might be the problem?

If you believe your computer is up to the task (if it is an oldie), did you check the advanced settings? Playing around with some settings might resolve it. I don't exactly remember which settings there are, I haven't had the BG games installed for some time.
