Get out your bellbottoms and wide collar shirts, it's time to party like its 1972 in the SYM Timewarp Disco. Listen to the Bee Gee's and wear gold chains just like yesteryear. Oh, and the sex was a lot freer then to... :D

You may not have been born, Drekron, but you are likely the product of some altered Potuguese version 1970's free love. :D

Go disco!

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around
since I was born.
And now it's all right. It's OK.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
the New York Time's effect on man.

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,
you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin',
and we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, staaaaaayin' aaaaalllllliiiiiiiiivvvvvvveeeeeee!

Well now, I get low and I get high,
and if I can't get either, I really try.
Got the wings of heaven on my shoes.
I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose.
You know it's all right. It's OK.
I'll live to see another day.

:D :D :D

Sorry. If I had been born before 1976, :D , I probably would have been getting the cr*p shot of me in Vietnam in 1972 instead of looking like John Travolta. Jeeze, c'mon. :D

No Waverly, we were having a revolution at that time, in 1972 we were having a colonial war.
We were ruled by a facist goverment in 1972, it ended in 1974.

Grunt: In what way was the UK involved in Vietnam??

This is a timewarp, you dolts, you have been transported back in time. You don't have to have a specific memory of being an extra in Saturday Night Fever. :p

I believe the Labour government here funnelled money to the VietCong. :D

OK bere's one song for all you 70's people :)

Can't Take My Eyes Off You

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
So if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

I love you baby and if it's quite all right
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say
Oh pretty baby, don't bring me down I pray
Oh pretty baby, now that I've found you stay
And let me love you baby, let me love you

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

I love you baby and if it's quite all right
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say
Oh pretty baby, don't bring me down I pray (fade)
Oh pretty baby, now that I've found you stay
I love you baby, trust in me when I say
