Has anyone found exactly what benefits minsc's berserk provides? Any specific combat abilities or immunities?

the absolutely most important immunity is the imprisonment immunity! this makes it so much easier to kill demi-liches
thats the most specific I can be about it...it gives a number of immunities...saying something like "when in berserk, the character cannot be stopped", so I imagine general stun, fear, domination immunity.
don't know if this goes without saying, so I'll say it anyway it also gives a hit point boost, which is lost when the berserk ends (yes also killing the character if it takes him below 1 hit point).
also remember that Korgan has this ability, so he also makes for a good demi-lich killer

Korgan has Enrage. He will not attack your party while this is active. Minsc, when Berserk, will attack the nearest party, including yours.

The person who is asking the question isn't asking about demi-lich fights. They need to know the differences, and those are significant. If you ever used Minsc for his berserk ability near your team, thinking he'd act like Korgan while enraged, you'd find the dividing line between berserk and enrage wasn't that minor, at all.

Thank you for the replies. So just so I am clear, Minsc's berserk has the same immunities as, say, the berserker fighter class kit? Other than, of course, the fact that you cant control him. I am mainly curious about what specifically are his bonuses. Stat bonuses, immunities, etc.

Alas, even the emoticon can mean so many things.

I can tell you with certainty that Minsc's berserk *did not* protect against imprisonment when I fought Kangaxx. I don't know why, because I even have Baldurdash installed, but I watched as poor Minsc and Boo disappeared into the ground.

And from what I've seen sometimes Minsc goes berserk by himself while fighting, which is always great.

He goes berserk when Aerie dies and she is his witch.
