All you get as a reward for her quest is a free roll in the hay. Does this actually do anything?

You get experience too.
If you are playing a female character, you can take cash instead of sex.

Yes. I have not noticed any game benefit from accepting sex, other than the entertainment value. There is actually a penalty, since you lose a bunch of Fatigue points.
