Cant find location of save games in DRAKENSANG, HELP!

I cant find where the save games are located(which file) in DRAKENSANG THE
DARK EYE, I want to use an editor for the game-but cant find the files. I know the save games are there because when I load a game I can choose between the two saves I currently have.
I looked in/at each file I had listed/each folder and could not find anything
related to saves, or save games.
please help!!!

they are located in your my documents folder.

The simple solution and the right one... a lot of new games store their save games and override folders etc in My Documents away from the game file. I guess it is to stop the hot headed accidentally deleting the wrong things :) .
