The manual doesn't show it as a concern. I like to pick my weapons to hit before theirs. so does this game take weapon speed into account?

Not really sure what you're thinking about, but there is no weapon speed in the game as far as I know.

The one that hit first is the one with the highest initiative roll.

The game is turn based. Despite it looking like it's in real time, it will always be you attack, they attack, you attack, they attack.

Your initiative score, which relies on dexterity, determines if you get the first attack of the combat.

The only way to get more hits in before they do is to account for high base attack bonus. A BAB of 6 will get you 2 attacks, 11 will get you 3 attacks, and 15 will get you 4 attacks. And you never get more than 4 attacks with BAB alone.

So it doesn't matter dagger vs two handed sword?

So it really doesn't matter if i use a two handed sword or my bare fist according to initiative roll?!

When deciding who get's to attack first, no.
