Hello Everybody
I have encountered a bug in the stronghold quest line for the De'Arnise Keep. I finished event 7 (the broken dike one) and as soon as I finished talking to the Major Domo the runner showed up, while I was still in the keep, to warn me of event 8 (Lord Roenall invading). However, when I try to talk to the Major Domo I get the dialogue options as though no event is happening. After 7 days I fail the quest and get the keep taken away. However, on the 7th day, the runner shows up and restarts the event even though I am either locked out of (or into) the keep.

After reading around a bit I downloaded Shadow Keeper, and spent 90min messing around with various functions, but I have gotten nowhere. I am hoping somebody with more experience can help me figure this out. I am on my first play through of Baldur's Gate II, and so far (72 in game days) hadn't encountered any bugs until this one.

Things like this are not uncommon.
The solution is usually very simple. Reload a savegame before you trigger this event. I personally keep at least 3 fairly recent savegames.
Do you have any recent backups?

Obviously, make sure your game is fully patched and if you're running any mods state this as well.
