Which almost-disaster would you like to be part of?

I was once flying in a plane and then BANG we went down for a hundred meters. Screaming screaming, everybody screaming! I was too stunned to even open my mouth. Then suddenly everything was back to normal.
I think that was uber-cool to happen to me. Though I don't think I would've liked it if the thing actually had crashed...
So here I ask of you, the GameBanshee community, what kind of almost-disaster would you like to be part of?

A plane crash?
A boat sinking?
A skyscraper on fire?

Gotta be in one of these at least once in your life. :D
As long as you survive of course...

I have already been through a vulcanic eruption and an earthquake, so I'll have to go for a tsunami next :D

From your list, I'd choose plane crash.

Edit: a clarification note: of course I mean all of the above only if it's on a smaller scale and nobody is hurt or killed. The earthquake and vulcanic eruption I have experinced were in complete wilderness where nobody lived, and I would love to watch a tsunami at a safe distance only if it came towards a non populated area.
But as long as no serious damage on people occurs, I am very fascinated by the force of nature.

I was in a large riot, once, without realizing it, but since it was in Paris, I guess I can be forgiven for being oblivious at the time. The normal behavior of Parisians is revolting enough to misunderstand the social context. :)

Am I the only one that doesn't fancy being in a disaster?

BTW-I am scared s**tless of flying, but I am going on a big huge trip in a month or so. Any ideas on how to get over it?

Maybe (If I have to choose, and I'm touching every piece of pine I can get my hands on- Wave give me your head!)a boat sinking thing. At least I can swim. I certainly can't fly by myself so that rules out the high rise building fire and the *gulp* *quiet voice* plane.

@Vix: re: stress relief while flying, do the word 'mile high club' mean anything to you?

@Wave- yes its a club that you join when you've been on a plane thats a mile above the ground! :D

Flying out on my own- possibly with a female friend. Either way doesn't look promising for me does it?

Travelling to the far east, possibly alone...I'm impressed Vix. What's the occasion? (you did say it was the far east, right?)

LOL Waverly :D I'm a member, are you?

Vixen, I've trained patients with flying phobia so they are much more comfortable flying. It not complicated to overcome, but it involves some contraintuitive elements. If you would like some advise, just PM or e-mail me. (This is not a joke)

LMFAO, CE, Is your memebship in any way related to the training you performed for your patients?? OK, I'm sorry... but I had to tie the threads together :D

No, alas, I am not a member if I am to be truthful... not for lack of trying ;)

Bah, in your dreams Waverly. Don't start fantasing about my whereabouts with my patients just because YOU are presently my patient at the lab. Any such ideas would only be realised when a patient stops being my patient. ;)

Anyway, I do not really recommend membership in the aforementioned club. Acrobatics needed, so to speak ;)

@CE: I think you'll find me incurably immature but more or less sane.

so you are limber?
