Hi everyone,
First off, I’d like to say thank you to all the posters here for doing a good job with keeping the posting respectful and understanding.
There have been a few exceptions, as would be expected in such an emotionally volatile time. Most people have been understanding and cooperative when asked to change a post or when asked to calm down.

As the initial shock wears off, it’s only natural to turn to questions. Who, why, and how, who else was involved, what is the US going to do in response, and what are the root causes behind this? I again ask all of you to think before you post. These issues are sensitive to everyone right now and people are on edge. Please be sensitive in not only what you say, but in how you say it. Even a logical point can be perceived as an insult if it’s not carefully phrased. Please try not to spread rumors and speculation as fact.

Please don’t post anything that is clearly against forum rules. i.e. derogatory or racist remarks, calls for violence against any religions, races or nationalities. Those kinds of posts will result in the post being deleted, and possibly your account being banned.
This isn’t referring to possibilities of military strikes, but to inflammatory posts.

Thank you for reading this. We want Gamebanshee to be a fun place to post and socialize, not a place for flaming and insults.

Hear, hear!

I thank both you and Mr Sleep (and Buck, of course), as it must be difficult to keep everyone civilized in the SYM past few days. Everyone have their own view and opinions, but it is not necessarily the same all the time. This is neither time nor place to go offensive everyone we can hands on in the SYM.

I wish everyone better week than last.

@T: Well spoken. Although, it hasn't just been moderators of this forum. I myself have pitched in to help maintain peace, and so have many other members who frequent SYM. Many of us our keeping peace, and keeping the more volitile members subdued.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped keep the peace. People like you make this forum great.
