Hello and thanks for reading my post...

I have some questions regarding act 3...

I have the base installation and I ve just reached act 3...I was given Crossroad Keep, but I didn't read the walkthrough in time, so now I can not find any veins of ore for my (only) miner Caerlyna (not reading the walkthrough also cost me not to have a second miner..). I m looking forward to upgrade my "men's" weapons and armory, but without ore I cannot..So I wanted to ask if in Act 3 are any other paths open for finding some ore, such as the previous areas I ve been through Act 1 and 2...

My second question is about Mr Veedle..

I have rebuilt the most of the Keep but there are still some work that needs to be done...And when I talk to him he says me 1) "I hope you won't keep my men idle for too long" and 2) "I don t have the required resources to do this.Come visit me later.."

Is this about the ore?Or can i find any resources for him anywhere?

The time of the keep approaches 50% and I would like to know if I must finish something before it reaches 100%.

And my last inquiry

How can I have both the lands and the roads near the Keep guarded? (I have 127 men, and I haven t taken the two of the four sergeants I ve read to the walkthrough...I killed the first and I can t reach the second. I only have Bevil and The Light (or whatever her name is...)

Hi Dillon

Just a note b4 i post. Could you use a different font color? Black is kinda hard to read, slightly annoying having to highlight each of ur questions between my typing.

Alright on to the questions. As for ur ore, yes. You can find a couple of deposits to make up for the ones you might have missed. See [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights2/walkthrough/ore.php"]here[/url] to find any ore deposits you might still retrieve from previous acts.

I can't recall needing resources to rebuild and fortify the keep. Apart from gold that is. I could be wrong tho, its been sometime since i played. Don't worry bout the keep time. It will be static if there is something you need to do that is crucial to the main questline. For example it stops on 27% (I think) the 1st time around until you finish a certain main quest. In other words, you will have done all the important quests by the time the keep time hits 100%

I assume you killed the drunken sergeant? Slight spoiler (highlight to read)

The sergeant accompanying Sydney Natale. His name was Jalboun i think.

If he is indeed the one you killed you can still recruit Katriona, Casavir's old lieutenant. Each sergeant is proficient in a different role. Use Bevil to guard the roads, Light of Heavans to recruit and Katriona to train. As long as you have enough well trained men in ur keep, the safety of the roads and lands will improve. Regardless of how you assigned Bevil (either land or road)

Finally, if you want, you can tweak a game file to give you the best of the best. Full trained men, countless soldiers, best morale, reverse keep time and whatnot. But thats just plain cheating lol. And i can't really remember how to tweak the file, or what it is in the 1st place...

Thank you very much...I have read these locations...But now I am stuck...

I can olnly go to Keep, Merchant Quarter,Circle of the Mere and Strange Clearing..

I don t have any other locations in my map...Anyway I ll find a way to do this... About the cheat you wrote...Hmm...Interesting..But I didn t see such cheat..Looks like i have to search more...Thanks again...

How can I find Katriona when I can t go to Old owl well??

Ohh..And something else...It s the first time I write in this forum (and any other like this) so I don t know what spoiler is...So, I am sorry if I did something wrong... :S

As i said, its been quite a long while since ive played NWN2 so i can't quite remember some of its content. It might help to look at the GB walkthrough. Btw, a spoiler is information that relates to something in a game which the reader might not know of yet. Once you've read it you will know of what happens later and this spoils the game for some people, hence spoiler

I did some digging and found the cheat for you. It requires editing the globals.xml file in ur savegame folder. As always back it up in case you mistakenly edit something. This is very important considering the file contains information pertaining to the entire game such as influence, quests completed and stuff achieved. Once you have located and backed up the file you can use [url="http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2GameInfo.Detail&id=91&category_select_id=15"]this[/url] as a guide to find which parameters you can modify in order to achieve a desired effect. Mind you, the globals file is very complicated and contains alot of game information. So, it can get complicated lol.
