Hi..i'm just new here and just play the drakensang but something wrong when i do the thieves guild quest. I bought a lot of hairpins from shaddy character and try to picklocks the final chest in thieves guild, but it never open. why?. I already have the picklocks talent ( 9 ), i don't know what i should do. And when i use the hairpin to chest, suddenly in picklocks talent, it written -1 and -10, why do i have penalty for this???. Please help meee , i love this game.

The chests in the obstacle course get more difficult the farther you go in, so the last chest is the most difficult, and that's probably why you're having trouble with it. You might need to bump up your skill or come back later.

If you try to pick a lock too quickly after failing to pick a lock, then you take a penalty. That might be the problem.

How did you manage the Thief's Guild initiation quest, with level 13 lock pick skills???

My character is level 17 within picking up locks, but still can't go across the 6th- chest.

So, tell me, how?

Some lockpicks are better than others. Did you save the good ones for the final chests? There's also some randomness involved.

I realized the problem.

Till there, I didn't know how to use the lock picks! Of, course, there wasn't any plus to open up chests, only the ten fingers!

Now, I know, how to use lock picks, and with that, all kind of things can open.
