Me and my girl started playing this a few days back. me as a fighter and she as a mage and we have gotten ourself in to town and visited the celestial order and got the quest to go down in the catacombs.

Here is the thing, we just get hammered and hammered with mobs mobs mobs to the point that we cant get any further.

There is just no way in hell that we can take em all.

So my question is: Are we suppose to do some other quests before so we get passed lv5, which we bouth are now, or is this just the game as it should be?

We have bouth joined our guilds and gotten ourself the initial quest but I guess we cant do those yet cus the town is locked down.
And we got one more quest of finding a vampire who stalked a citicen.
Thats it.

Please give any ideas or tips or we will be forced to stop playing this game, which has been so much fun to play this far.

I usually try to get to level 5 before I even enter the sewers and level 8 before I take on the catacombs. You should go through the forums for some really great advice. And the walkthrough is really great as well.

If you haven't done so yet, you might want to play around with the difficulty settings. One of them is for how often monsters spawn.

Thanks for the replys :)

I see that we are way behind in level so I think we will rerol and make new chars and hope it will help abit.

As for the monsterspawnrate!? no not more than that I started a singel player game yesterday and noticed that it wasnt at all as hard as in multiplayer.

I think when you play 2 toons you get the double amount of monsterspawn and thats insane really.

But thanks and I will lett you know in a few days how it goes!

I made an adept and she made a rouge and its going nicely now :) .
Not only the difficulty settings made it more playeable, I think the mage class lacked much compared to the rouge who is realy good in melee and can defend herself.

So its woking great now and its a nice litle game (despite the humungus amount of bugs)

There shouldn't be too many bugs but I suppose it depends what edition you are playing, I have only ever played the Collectors Edition myself. Hope you enjoy playing the game though and massacre some bats and spiders, man do I hate them ...... 'trails off muttering about giant spiders and stupid poison'.
