i max(ed) out gwen's trap ability, was being attacked, clicked on a trap in gwen's backpack: no 'use' icon came up ? thanks what party should i take to the castle ? thanks

I never tried using traps but... did you try putting the trap in Gwen's hotkey bar? That's the key for using a lot of other equipment.
