I decided to play BG1 again after a long while, and i started two days ago. But just after chapter 3 a saving problem popped out. When i try to save (quick or normal) i get the notification "cannot save during a rest, chapter information or movie." But autosave is still working. Is there anyone who knows a solution, or why did it start to happen? I'd appreciate every bit of help.

Btw i'm using win xp, if that matters.

Just to clarify, you aren't using BG1 Tutu are you? I ask because there's a bug in Tutu that can kick in upon visiting Beregost, and I notice that in my games that almost always happens only after the bounty for scalps sub-quest kicks in, which IIRC is in chapter 3. If that's the case the only solution I've ever found sadly is to revert to a save before the Beregost bug kicks in, personally I've taken to avoiding Beregost after clearing the mines when playing Tutu.
