Can't Install .. ugh, Help!!

I can install the first two disk fine, but when it gets to the third disk, at 33%, I'm getting the following error:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: \C: \DOCUME~1\ Mike\ LOCALS~1 \TEMP \_ISTMP2.DIR \_INS5576._MP
Abnormal program termination.
I un-installed everything by sifting through my regedit (per the support faq provided here), and tried to install again. I got the same problem, but this time, it was \_ISTMP3.DIR\ that gave me the error.
I had the game installed earlier, but I un-installed it as I wanted to install TuTu (which requires a custom install so that everything is installed), and now I can't get it to install again!
What can I do? I recently discovered TuTu and I'm all pumped to play it but I can't even install.
edit: I checked the stickied thread concerning runtime errors, and it appears that this issue isn't covered, as the others deal with in-game run time errors.
