Hope somebody can help.
When I try to continue or load a saved game I get a message error saying something about "NEBULA ASSERTION" and about some files length. After that I get a Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error message. I tried starting a New Game, but when saving got same error. I renamed the Drakensang folder where savegames are kept and reinstalled the game. I was able to start, save and reload a new game, but when tried to copy my old saved games to the new folder, same error again. I just don't feel like starting all over this game. I will really really appreciate any help on this matter.
Thank you in advance
Looks like my saved games are corrupted
Did you try just copying one saved game to the new installation, or the entire saved games folder?
The one time I had trouble with a saved game, it was only that one saved game, and going back to an earlier save fixed things up.

Things you might try:
Run Checkdisk on your drive to see if it's actual file system corruption, and possibly windows can fix it.
Download the save game editor:

Try and load one of your old saves. If it loads it fine, then it's probably not an error with the actual save game itself. If it does load, you might try making a small change, resaving, then see if it works in the game.
It could also be a bad copy of the game.db4 file in your old profile. You might play around with that.
If you are having any other type problems not related to the game, you might check for malware, as that has been know to cause C++ errors.
You also might want to disable any antivirus or other antimalware software you have running, before loading the game. The save games get bigger as the game goes along, and if the antimalware software is trying to scan it, it could be holding it up while the game is trying to load it at the same time. Of course, if you decide to disable your antimalware software, you might want to disable your network connection until you turn it back on.
