I'm wondering if this has something to do with my system.. or if anybody else is experiencing this..
I was just looking at an entry in AC's Blog, and I noticed that in the places where she replies to comments there's a ghastly pastel-blue background that not only clashes with the GB colours, but also makes font illegible unless highlighted...

I seem to have the same phenomena occurring in my blog as well...

Please... tell me I'm not the only one experiencing this... :eek:
I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate.

I'm not experiencing this. I wonder if it's a video setting.

OK, well that's a relief anyway... I've had a technologically frustrating day, so I was seriously wondering... :D

I wonder what is causing it though.... :confused:

@Fable,
I have no idea..... *sigh*
It was fine previously though... I'm not sure I've done anything to cause the issue..

DW, have you tried rebooting? I've found that some apps and games don't always reset graphics bits once closed.

Yes, just tried that... but I'm still getting the nasty baby blue... :eek:

@Loki...
OK, there's 3 of us, at least, makes me feel moderately better :D
Though I have to wonder why Fable has been spared this particular agony... :p

Out of curiosity, what's your video card?

My reverend locks and aged wisdom, no doubt. :angel:

NVIDIA 8800 GTS
Thing is, I haven't had problems previously.. Also, what's bizarre is that only the author's replies to the blog are affected.... not the original entry.. not the comments of other people..

Hmmm... let me think on that.... :D ;)

I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT. Now, let's see what the others are using that have the same problem.

It is not a graphics card problem - it is a stylesheet problem.

The class "entryposter" has a background color of "#CCFFFF" which causes that blue color.
You should make Buck aware of it, as I don't think he knows or intends for that css class to be that background color

It is a css class that is added to each post the author of a blog makes to make it visible it is the blog author; just .... too visible :D

Thanks for the clarification, given the particulars I kind of wondered if it was something like that, but I'm not techie enough to guess with certainty :D

I just PM'ed Buck, hopefully he'll be able to adjust the shade..
If not we'll just all have to start our blog posts with "It's a boy!" No matter the actual topic at hand... :p

Thanks for pointing this out, DW. I believe I've fixed it, so please let me know if any of you notice other quirks.
