playing online (via gamespy)

I tried playing online using gamespy, I managed to get on the server but can't host or join a game. When I click host it says "authentication rejected ()" is there any way to fix this?
I tried clicking host again and it only says "conection in progress, please wait..." for 10 mins, and nothing ever happens.
How do i play online?

I would also like to know if there is a fix for this. Mine says the code is not authentic or something like that.

It seems that only direct IP over internet works now. Perhaps using Hamachi then using the LAN option may work. I know if you buy the game electronically they are no longer giving cd keys, which leaves Gamespy completely out of the mix.

I figured it out you need to turn off your firewall otherwise it won't work.
ps. your firewall needs to be completely off for this to work.

Gamespy still works for online play.
I know it does. I get on all the time except.. there is never anyone to play with.
I got the collectors edition - c1.5 metal box with map added inside is collectors edition C1.5
Feel free to ask me to come on and play if you got C1.5

Ah to bad I'm CE, it would sure be intresting to play Dungeon lords in multiplayer for a change.
Always been in single player.
Time difference would be to much of a problem anyways, I'm from Belgium, I see you are from California heh.
