My Cleric is getting dumber...

My main character is a Lv. 13 Cleric which was getting no more spaces for learning new spells since its Caster Level 5 (yes, I can't learn Lv. 6-7 spells)...but now things are getting worse!
He's forgotten his Lv. 5 spells! The highest level spells I can use are Lv. 1-4, which are pretty crappy...
Is this a bug? Is this a feature in the game? Is my Cleric stupid?
Please, help me!

though i never had a cleric as a main character i had one in my party and this never occured to me. nwn 2 has lots of bugs even after all those patches so my advice is to reload an earlier save if you have one

What do you mean by "forgotten" his lv 5 spells? Has the entire lv 5 spell tab gone missing from your spellbook?

That's it!
And even if I can load an older savegame...the lv 6-7 spell tabs never appeared when I retried...

Well, looking for an answer (Google, I love you) I think that I got the solution.
To cast spells the Intelligence level must be somewhat high, and I maybe had an item that provided my character some Intelligence...an item that probably I've sold so...yes, my Cleric WAS stupid.
Thanks for your help anyway!

Cleric's need WISDOM for casting spells.
15 WISDOM ='s level 15 SPELL LEVEL (results in the highest spell level you can have).
19 WISDOM ='s level 19 SPELL LEVEL (..top *spell* level, but your Wisdom modifier also improves your spell's save components (offensive spells) - so it's often *very* worthwhile to further improve this well beyond 19.)
etc.
If you are wearing an item that has a *penalty* to Wisdom, then you should probably stop wearing it.

the misuse of the apostrophe by certain users is plain disgusting, to say the least.

Yup!
(..I thought it was clear, but upon reading again I could see that it isn't necessarily so.) I'll change it now.

..creating the *plural* of equal in a both a prose and numeric "combination" can simply be =, OR can be ='s.
(i.e. it's a style in a non-formal environment.)
