I encountered the Ormyrrs in the Halls of light and they asked me to clear the sharpstick room. I found it in the deep halls and cleared it of orcs. Upon returning to them they left for the sharpstick room and told me to visit them there to trade with them. I visited the room but they are not there.

Does anyone know if i have to do something else before they appear there? Any advice would be great here as i havent freed nottle yet and my party is a little weighed down so could use a merchant to trade with. Thanks.

Have you rested at least once, giving them enough time to return to the Sharpstick Room? Ormyrrs aren't very fast; they need at least several hours to get there.

Even so, the ormyrrs once failed to show up for me as well. I think it's best to rest immediately after conversing with them, in any room other than the one you found them in. Or at least, be sure to do so sometime before leaving the Halls of Light.

And a word of advice: money is almost useless in the game, especially at the level your characters are probably at by that point. So if something you've been lugging around is weighing your party down too much, just drop it on the floor and don't give it a second look.
