It has been a long haul

Many months have gone by since the early versions of the editor that Steve2D was working on. I have re-installed DL and am on the 68th or 69th playthrough, don't remember exactly.
My setup is completely different now and there is a slight flicker in the menues, but the gameplay is otherwise flawless.
I don't know of any other game where you can completely take a game apart with either the editor, or simply from hex editing. However, there is one thing that Steve2D never got around to. As far as I know, there is no way of completely uncovering the game fog in the entire game world in one stroke. Pitty nobody ever took on this task.
I did, at one time in the past, get up on all the mountains and roamed around till all areas were uncovered that couldn't be uncovered in the normal terrain. Other than encounters with enemies, I had a save game before doing anything in normal game play, with an uncovered gameworld. And wouldn't you know it, lost the save file on an old hard drive*&$!!??
Anyhow, what ever became of Steve2D. Wish he or someone else would take on the task of an uncovered map border to border. In the meantime, maybe I'll play through 2 or 3 times on the way to the "smart ***" remark I made to someone of going for 100 playthroughs
