fallout 2 money

Hey everyone! I have been playing fallout 2 and I just got to the den and I realized that alot of the people who can sell you items usually dont have that much money? Is there anyway they can get more money or do you have to just trade items for items to equal out the price?

Yes, trading items for items is the way to go in the beginning. Try to offer more than asked and fill out the difference with the few hundred dollars they have. Halfway through the game, you'll be swimming in money.

Another option would be gambling, though that means you have to have Luck relatively high and invest to the gambling skill to be profitable. Stealing and selling is also option, though stealing is rather risky at the lower levels, so it turns to be try and reload -method.
