Hi everyone, I've been really going back and forth on buying Nwn2, and for the tiebreaker so to speak I want to know whether and how well I can run never winter nights 2. I've heard people with similar set-ups to mine being able to get 30 average fps on low settings but I've also heard of people getting only around 4. So here are my specs:
2 processors: genuine intel(R) CPU t2250 1.73GHz
1 gb ram
ATI mobility radeon X1400
I’m fine with running at bare minim settings.
Thanks.

I ran the game with 512mb RAM, and a dual core processor running at 1.83Ghz and a similar GPU. Had no problems running in on low-ish settings with good solid FPS throughout. IIRC, the real killer was the loading times whilst transiting between areas, which thankfully, happens rarely enough as to not ruin the game's immersion factor.

It's about the same as my own computer, which runs it OK as long as I turn off fancy shadow effect, bloom, etc. That's one thing to keep in mind, the graphics are very scalable.
Still, this thing can tax your CPU quite a bit. Lots of scripting running in the background here. If the Official Campaign puts you off a bit, you'll be pleased to know the Mask of the Betrayer expansion runs much smoother.

Mostly with non-action rpgs like this I'm okay with long loads, so that won't be a problem, so thats great. Thanks tons!

with reduced settings, do not forget to reduce resolution as well.
that's a major point in performance-related issues.
