Just at the start of BG2 I imported my character from BG1 and made a few mistakes with proficiencies. So I started again and soon after I reached the surface I noticed that my max hp had been reduced from 95 to 56. I was suffering from no visible effects and could not pinpoint the problem so I just started again, after all I hadn't gotten that far into the game yet. Now after taking on Korgans quest I entered the lower tombs. At this point I noticed that his base THAC0 had increased from 13 to 23, and indeed I have an earlier save of when I just met him with a base THAC0 of 13. He is not suffering from any effects from what I can tell.

So am I missing something here or is there a bug that requires a (unoffical) patch?

You're sure that you're not suffering from any form of curse, ability drain or level drain?

Do any of your stats appear in red?
