Hello everyone. This post is to inform you that a new Dungeon Siege Guild, Nexsis has opened its doors to the DS public. Nexsis will be taking applications for people interested in playing the upcoming RPG Dungeon Siege.
Well, you may be asking what is Nexsis all about, and why should I join it?
What is Nexsis?
Nexsis is what we like to call an online gaming family. We wanted to create an extremely friendly role-playing gaming atmosphere online with members we know we can trust. Legit gaming is one of our biggest concerns. Nexsis does not tolerate cheating or any players that condone cheating. Our main goal in online gaming is to create a virtual gaming guild full of active, legit members who are friendly and have a great sense of humor who we can always depend on. We believe in backing fellow members in any way that deems necessary to benefit the guild and our gaming community to help us enjoy our gaming adventures even more in a friendly, fun-filled atmosphere.

Nexsis was created/founded by Tirion.
When was Nexsis created?
Nexsis was created in July 2000.
What sort of government does Nexsis have?
Nexsis is run by a Vesper and the Dark Council. Vesper is the role-playing term of a guild leader. The Vesper entrusts the Dark Council, which consists of five councilors, to enforce the rules and ideals of Nexsis. They are responsible for screening potential new members and to vote on new rules, or ideas which members of Nexsis present that they think will benefit Nexsis. A majority vote will pass the subject of attention. Even though a Vesper and a Council run Nexsis, this by no means makes any other member less important. In fact, it is quite the opposite. We feel that the every-day member is the most important aspect of a guild because without members, a guild ceases to exist as a team. Member’s opinions are always listened to and asked for before any idea that the Vesper or Council comes up with before action is taken. This guild is not run by a dictatorship, but rather a system that enables any member to voice their opinions or ideas to the guild as a whole.
Is Nexsis spelled wrong? Isn’t it supposed to be Nexus?
No, Nexsis is not spelled wrong. It is also not supposed to be Nexus as many people have suggested upon us introducing ourselves on new forums. We named ourselves Nexsis after a fantasy-fighting group we created in our role-playing stories.
How does Nexsis role-play?
We role-play good and evil characters together in an ever evolving hard driven fantasy story that correlates to the game Nexsis is playing as a guild. First thing that will happen is that the members on that day will decide as a group to either role-play their characters that gaming session or to just group together and adventure out of character. During the first weeks of the game, we will not be role-playing that much because we think it is wiser to get the gist of the game first and group together to get the feel of the game and what to expect and then role-play from our experiences. When we decide to role-play our characters, depending on which member uses what characters, a virtual war is set up. The evil characters will go off in a section together as a group or solo if they so choose and vice versa with the good side role-players. We will have a story to go by which by that time, will be uploaded on our site for the members to understand what is going on and to see exactly where their character fits into the overall story. We might have fictional brothers for example fighting on opposite sides and the evil brother is out to seek and destroy his good brother in a particular session. So the rest of the members in that session will take our role-playing parts and either help the evil brother find the good brother and the good characters will help protect the good brother from the evil role-players. And whatever the outcome will be, it will be updated in our role-playing logs on our site so the story is in reading format and is ever evolving. Eventually we will have a nice history of events that we can look back on and enjoy reading about.
