How to find the bandit boss near the traveler camp?? (Quest)

Shortly after the sign "Eastern Swamp" is a crossroad. There's a way to east an one to west. Which way to go to find the bandit boss? That's all for now

Ok, from memory you follow the path past the camp (past the hireling), at some point there'll be torches and bandits will show up frequently. A little later the path will split off to the right, that's the way leading to the bandit leader's cave. (sorry i never look at the compass
)

ok, I found my way trough the wood! And I found the cage, too. The bandit boss is no more.....
