Anyone have this Bug? I cant raise a dead character. I click on him and it does nothing.

Are you sure you have enough mana to cast the spell?

Does your icon glow blue when you place it over the characters portrait?

If you do not have enough mana to cast ressurection/revive, then go to the nearest town and pick up a couple ressurection scrolls from a shopkeeper. They are very useful to have, especially if it is your mage who gets killed, and the are sold for only 60 gold each.

I have had the same problem

Had plenty of mana (275 mana - required 85) yes the cursor was blue, clicked the spell icon and then the char who was dead, all that happened was the game targetted the dead player.

Please give detailed instructions on how you res the dead, click by click. Also, how does a player use a scroll.

The manual is very vague, and I have tried all way, obvious and wiered, but cant res the dead.

Please help

I also have a similar problem with heal spells and armour spells, how the devil do they work, its says one cast only, and cant even do that. Please, again, click by click instructions would be very much appreciated.

i tink u could try placing the cursor over the character u need to cast the spell on & press the keyboard button 'C'. <------ Try tis if click doesn't work.

Ressurection is pretty simple to do. First of all, check how much manna it will take to ressurect the dead character. Make sure that your current manna, NOT your total manna is above this amount.
Take your ressurection spell or scroll and put it into a spell book. You cannot use spells or scrolls without one. They cost very little in a shop, and it's worth it to equip each character with one.
With the spell/scroll active in your spell book, right click on either the dead character's portrait, or his body. If you have enough manna, he will ressurect.

Armor/health buffs work exactly the same way. Just make sure they are active in your spell book and you have enough manna. Then simply right click on the character you want to buff.

Another thing I'd like to note, as it took me a while to figure out, if you want to manually cast a restorative spell on a party member, you must select only the mage and RIGHT-CLICK on a character.

As Krynus has already posted, buy a spellbok and place you scrolls in the book. By left-clicking on the little icon with 3 arrows on the right to the spellbook in your inventory screen, you open the spellbok and see all the spells you've got there.

Now, when you want your char to cast the spell, make sure you have selected that character, and that the spell you wish to cast (healing, a resurrect scroll or whatever) is marked with the green square around it at the icons right of your characters portrait. Then, right click on the character you want to heal/resurrect or cast armour on - I click on the portrait instead of the avatar since I find this easier to target in the heat of battle
