problem in the dark forest

Hi, problems in the dark forset. I have found my way into the chambers and collected Fury's eye. In this small room I have found a lever. What does this activate. Any clues?

I believe the levers work to move the doors open and closed and the ramps up and down. Since you already did all that, they don't serve any purpose anymore.

@Ben: I also found the lever but I never found any use for it. Same thing with the platform in the larger room, the platform still sinks when you step on it or put an item on it, but nothing seems to happen.

The levers are a precaution so that you can't get stuck in an area of the secret dungeon. For example, if you left a character standing on a plate, and then he was attacked and left the plate, and was killed, you would be trapped in because nothing would be on the pressure plate. The levers let you reopen the wall to get back up.
