Tolkien MUST have invented Fantasy

As you may have already guessed, this is an obvious attempt to encourage [inspire/provoke/infuriate] Mr. fable into posting here again. Methinks the intellience level of SYM has gone down two notches with his absence.
Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah. The LoTR movie proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no fantasy/science fiction writer before or after JRR worthy of mention, much less of readership. Tolkien is the author and perfecter of Fantasy, yesterday, today, and forever!
There. That should do it, hopefully.

You could just say that Tolkien couldn't write! **Looks around for Fable**

Yeah! Everybody knows Tolkien is solely responsible for all modern fantasy! And no one is going to say otherwise! Right?
Right? *Waits for fable’s will to break and he decides to write an unnecessarily long and boring post that nobody understands, nor cares about* J/K

And also that Stephen King is a great writer.

Since the entire fantasy genre is derivetive it pains me to think that any one can perfect it

ROTFL! I read the forums first thing in the morning to clear the debris from my mind, and this really raised my spirits above the ubiquitous New Jersey cloud covering--simply the idea that someone would start up a topic designed to act as a blatant "red flag for Fable." Much appreciated.
I'll think about posting here, again...but no promises.

Great idea, MM.
Fable's probably putting together the pages of type by cutting and pasting from the old topics...
Only what if they were the ones Buck deleted?

Certainly not. Fable's insightful posts on any subject are sorely missed.

I agree, but it depends on what you deem insightful.

@Thorin, you seem so sure that I'll start posting again. While it's true that @SS' grousing has inched me still closer to rejoining the madcap throng, I really haven't decided yet.

We also have limited powers at blessing, smiting, cursing, and blasting. And we get a nifty decoder ring!
And no, this doesn't mean I'm back. The above was merely posted as a solemn exegesis upon a most profound theme.
