backstab multi damage

Hi All!
I can't backstab any of the monsters, enemies I attack with my thief (even if his invisible). Please help me, how to make a succesful backstab attack. Thank you, Na007

It's possible to back stab in D2?!?!?! is that using the expansion pack? (

Well if tis refers to BG2 you have to creep up behind the monsters inorder to back stab.....
